Wear parts often require a suitable material solution such as nickel super alloys, expensive cobalt types or special cermets. Availability, delivery times and bulk materials often weigh on the efficiency and budget control of the project.

LCV therefore proposes its "Material-On-Demand" where we make a hybrid component with "low-grade" material and a high-quality UltraClad coating.

Due to the metallic bonding, the minimal dilution and the low heat input, the hybrid component has the properties of the high-quality bulk while the cost and delivery time is grafted onto that of generic materials.
